MAY 31, 2012 GLOBAL SPECTRUM NAMES MICHAEL TISCHLER EVENT MANAGER (TRENTON, NJ – May 31, 2012) Global Spectrum, the management company that operates the Sun National Bank Center, named Michael Tischler as the facility’s new Event Manager. Tischler replaces Todd Stoudenmire, who was named the new Event Manager at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, the Corporate Headquarters of Global Spectrum. In his new role, Michael is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling events within the facility for which he is assigned, including preparing outlines and scaled drawings of event areas, gathering accurate event production information in advance of each event, and serving as the primary liaison for show promoters, building staff, and patrons to ensure all requirements of the event are satisfied. “Global Spectrum aims to hire quality individuals and provide them with the tools and opportunities to develop professionally within our company. Michael is a great example of this, having started as an intern and earned himself this new role within the Global Spectrum family,” said Claudio Oliveira, Assistant General Manager of the Sun National Bank Center. “We are extremely pleased to have him as part of our team!” added Oliveira. Tischler joined Global Spectrum’s parent company, Comcast-Spectacor in May 2011 as a Customer Service Intern with the Philadelphia Flyers and returned during his senior year as an Event Production Intern at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Prior to joining Comcast-Spectacor, Tischler interned in the Ticket Sales and Marketing Departments of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. The Scranton, PA, native received a B.S. in Sport Management with a Minor in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University in 2012.
